B's been gone on his week long camping/canoing Algonquin trip with his dad and I've been trying to hold on to my sanity petsitting (*grumble grumble*). I couldn't stand having no agenda, not working, and not being with my boo at first, but my weekend has consisted of:
- Cleaning B's place up while he's gone
- Shopping and scheming up some plans for B's upcoming birthday
- Dogsitting (and fish sitting, if you count B's tank)
- Computer games with my guhguh
The weekend and my day off turned out great. I've really been able to focus on a weekend project of cleaning/organizing B's room and bathroom, juggle playing dog mommy spending quality time with my doggy and the dog I'm pet sitting in beautiful weather, and indulge in old computer games with my brother until odd hours of the night. I haven't thought much about all the drama going on at work, I've thought a lot about some of the best memories B and I have had in our relationship. I've been able to catch up with a few friends, 've cooked a bit, cleaned a ton, and worked out quite a bit too.
Tim and I played The Sims all weekend, and I'm thinking about whipping out Lemonade Stand or Oregon Trail next weekend. We'll see. After all, I don't want to get too addicted.
Goodbye weekend - I'm not sure what will happen in the next few weeks with this internship and with preparing to leave for school but I'm reminded just to enjoy the ones I love, my baby doggy, the weather, and my health.

I'll admit - I'm dependent on internet
We haven't had internet for awhile at home. I guess the ATT guy came to fix the phone lines and internet, but Tim forgot to double check that the guy fixed both, and the guy forgot to fix both. So now we have to wait until the ATT guy comes back again. For now, we've been mooching what internet signals we can off of neighbor's wireless, but it is so unstable!
First thing's first to break the exciting news! A month after I asked for compensation two ways and was given a "no", Claude came to me this past week and basically broke the news that I would be granted both. I'm flirting with the idea that the raise is because they can't bring in extra help from college students and pay them less. Claude claims that HR found a "loophole" in "the system" and as long as I can bring transcripts to prove that I am a full time student entering my sophmore year, I would be able to eventually receive this raise.
Did I tell you Kristi is upstairs in IT now? Though she is 50% marketing/bus dev, according to John. This makes it difficult to train her, as people constantly call and show up for help from her for stupid requests. We're chipping away at it slowly but surely, and I'm just keeping positive about it.
Back to the two requests that were granted. I asked Claude "How many extra sets of hands?" and "Where will they sit?" and "What PC's will they use?" and "Who are they going to be" and "What are they going to do?" and Claude basically told me it was totally up to me :) So to make a long story short, Catalina and Tim are starting June 21st if we can get the paperwork together!
Today, we went to a doggie activity day at the doggie day care center that Romeo goes to once a week. My mom works from home on Wednesdays, so she drops him off for $10 and he spends the day socializing with other pups. He got to get his paw print in finger paint, play with his best friend Trigger, eat doggie treats, watch the Rock and Roll K-9s perform, and play musical chairs with other owner's and dogs.
Aside from all this, my relationship with D has been on the rocks. Does that even make sense? I don't even know. It's such a disaster, and we've just been fighting and fighting and fighting. In all honesty, we have the most intense love/hate relationship I have ever experienced. At times, I feel I am so in love with him, but other times, I can't believe how mean we are to each other. Maybe more to come on this later if I feel like ranting about it...

The love of my life
After the pup greeted me when I got home today (he's always so happy when someone comes home or when someone knocks on the door), I was playing around with him and I picked him up and started teasing him. I started blowing puffs of air at his ears and he did not like this. Usually he sort of tells me to back off by pretending he's going to bite, but this time he snapped a little too close and sort of scratched my nose and lip. I guess I deserved it for bullying him though, but I think it's hilarious how spunky he is.
But he's also such a sweetheart! Yesterday, I was sitting on the couch with my laptop in my lap and he sort of came over and nudged it. Sometimes he nudges pillows and blankets like he's checking what's under them so I picked up my laptop for him to check under. He crawled into my lap, made a little circle, and went right to sleep :)
Anyway, here are some of my favorite pictures of him I was looking through:
If you pick up my pup when he's in a calm and cuddly mode, it is so precious! He'll kind of curl up around your arm and fall asleep. Oh and he also snores! But yeah this is a good picture to show his small size.
I took this because I thought this was would be a funny picture. It kind of looks like he's using the laptop - haha
Sometimes, if you're sitting on a chair or couch with your legs down, he'll kind of just walk up, put his paws on your leg, and pop up to see what's going on.
Often when he's bored or at home alone, he'll jump up by the bay windows and watch what's going on outside like it's a TV until he falls asleep. He'll even stick his nose up to the crack of the window and take a few really deep breaths of fresh air! It was quite funny when we figured out what he was doing, and my mom started putting blankets up there for him to fall asleep on. As you can see, he's pretty protective of his toys too - he'll gather them in a pile next to his bed before he falls asleep (that's his ear hanging off the edge).
This is the first time Romeo got to meet Catherine's dog named Little Man (I know, weird name right?) It was kind of funny because Romeo sort of bullied her dog around... of course I won't deny, her dog was kind of being a pushover anyway and I think Romeo was getting mad that Little Man didn't want to play. I mean he loves chasing/being chased by dogs and humans and Little Man would sort of just back up and corner himself before barking a fit at Romeo to make him back off.
A picture from the first day we had him :) He's so tiny! I don't even think he was 4 lbs. when we first got him. My little baby!
Sometimes when there's nothing good on TV (aka there's nothing fun to watch out the window), he'll kind of sit on the steps with his head between the rails. I would have never guessed he could fit his head there, but even when people are downstairs and he is on the steps, he'll poke his head through to look down and see what's going on.
In the morning after he wakes up with my mom, he'll come to my room when she leaves for work and he'll and go back to sleep in my bed. When I get up for a shower, he usually gets up with me and follows me around until I actually get in the shower. Sometimes, he sleeps outside the bathroom door waiting to lick my legs when I get out, but sometimes, I come back to my room and he has crawled back into bed! Often times he'll even crawl halfway under my covers.
This is before his first official haircut! I can't believe he looks so fat with all that hair (which is why it's hilarious to give him a bath - he looks like a little skeleton under all that hair). Tim cropped this picture, shrunk it down, and wrote "die!" in red letters under his face as an AIM icon joke since his eyes are kind of devilish in this picture - haha
This is another picture from the first day we bought him. After we chased him and played with him for a few hours, me, my mom, Tim, and Dusan all kind of stood around him trying to figure out how we could get him to take a nap on his new bed. We pulled the bed out of his little cage-y and put it on the ground while we were talking about it, and he sort of walked over, sniffed, scratched to fluff it up, plopped down, and sighed. He is so funny when he sighs before he falls asleep! It's like he's had a stressful day or something. Well after he fell asleep, we moved him and the bed back into the cage-y and gave him a little blanket. He sorta kicked it off and scrunched it up but I remember I couldn't resist taking this picture because of the awkward posture he was in.
I think this picture is adorable because his face is so precious! Also, D was just sitting there on the couch and Romeo crawled up the armrest and sat down on D's head :) And his hair looks kind of funny too.
I just like this picture because I think he kind of looks like a bear! We joke that he is part bear (by the way he walks), part bunny (by the way he hops when he wants to slow down from running), part snake (by the way his tounge flickers in and out), and part pig (because the shape of his nose is kind of funny).
I think having a dog has most definitely improved the relationship of our family. We're not at all affectionate towards each other but we've all grown to generally be more affectionate people after we got the pup. Also, we kind of treat him like he's our little kid so we joke and laugh to each other about funny things that have happened. I honestly dunno what I'd do without him!

I counted over 30!
At about 9:00pm, Dusan came over and we put the "Security" sweater on Romeo (he was not happy wearing the sweater - hahaha). He instantly went from a hyper mode to a slow mode. If you know my puppy, you know it takes a lot to calm him down, so I don't think he was too comfortable wearing the sweater. My mom and D kept joking around saying that Security was "slacking off" - hehehe
My large, pregnant guppy that I mentioned in the last entry had babies yesterday :) It must have happened right after 9pm because I came home around 8:45pm and thoroughly looked through my tank (I check every day for new babies or dead fish or whatever). When the three of us finished teasing the pup, D had to use our internet to do some studying, and I went back to syphon my tank and found the babies!
First, it started out to be like 2 or 3 hiding in the corner. But I soon discovered more and more hidden in the plants and corners of my tank. Altogether including my original 4 baby platys, 2 baby guppies (1 was the one I watched be born), 1 teenage guppy which is now released into the tank, and the 5 teenage platys that I got from Petco, I have a total of 35 baby/teenage fish in my tank. That's 23 babies that were born last night!
*Sigh* I'm such a dork about my hobbies, I can't help but geek about these things.

Some aqua updates
Last Friday was my pup's one year birthday! He had some ice cream, we bought him a black sweater that says "Security" on it, and took him to a bunch of pet stores and other places to make his day eventful. It never ceases to amaze me how small he is, especially when he sits down next to me or sleeps in my lap. So tiny!
I bought a few new plants and fish for my tanks - another Rotalla, two Micro Sword plants for my betta tank (these plants need a lot of light!), and a Bacopa plant nicknamed the "minty" plant because it smells like mint.

But wow, some of the magazine pictures I found are amazing! I mean look at some of these I found online:

I decided I'm switching from Neon Tetras to Cardinal Tetras. They look almost identical, but the red on Neon Tetras are only on half of the bodies while Cardinal Tetras have the red stripe all the way across their bodies. Also, the colors on Cardinal Tetras are a little bit bright. Most importantly, Cardinal Tetras are more "durable" even though they are more sensitive to the water type. So I currently have 5 Neon Tetra and I bought 2 Cardinal Tetras.

Meanwhile, when I start a new tank (or start over with an older tank), I want to have a school of Rummy Nose Tetra. Bernie said that as long as I have a school of fish, Rummy Nose will generally stick together with the Neon and Cardinal tetra, so I bought 1 Rummy Nose (that was all he could catch anyway).
Oh I almost forgot!
The other day when I went to Petco with D, there was a tank full of baby Red Wag Platys, some just born and some a few months old. It turns out that my little floater of baby guppies are not all baby guppies! The ones with a more orange-ish tint and black tails are Red Wag Platy babies! So I have two different kinds of babies!
I guess someone donated the bunch of baby Platys to Petco, and when I asked about them, they gave me 5 of them to adopt. They are sooo cute!
So I bought a very pregnant, full grown guppy from Bernie. My pregnant guppies aren't even full grown - they're like half the size of a full grown guppy. I figured I have 7 babies (used to have 10 but 1 died and I somehow lost 2 in the transfer of tanks because they're so tiny!) If I'm going to raise babies, I might as well raise a bunch more at a time and sell them or give them as presents.
Anyway, I hope I can make the time and money to keep indulging in this hobby when school gets out.

Undeveloped thoughts
Spent the weekend nights with D, Tom, and Alandra and got to see Ava yesterday!
And spent the majority of this past Saturday doing a real thorough cleanup of my room, the bathroom, and the laundry room. Unfortunately while my bed sheets were in the laundry, Romeo puked on my bed twice (bleh) so I have to figure out what else I can do to clean it off.
Worked on my tanks a little bit too. I'm thinking when the semester is over, I'm going to sell my unwanted fish and unwanted plants back to Choice, move my wanted fish and wanted plants to my other tank, scrap the entire tank's setup, and start a saltwater tank. It'd be prime to buy a BioCube because those are more for saltwater tanks, but unfortunately, I don't have that kind of money to burn :(
I recently started a new scrapbook for myself. It'll be a compilation of major events in my life of 2007. I've never completed a scrapbook for myself before, I don't think. But I've made many for other people. What I really need to do is get a big scrapbooking bag with tons of pockets so I can organize the ridiculously large amount of equipment I have, but again with the money! I can't believe how expensive those bags are!
Anyway, Catherine moved in with Gary because her apartment lease is up and they're getting married in August anyway. She gave me this awesome crockpot because Gary already has one. It has a deep lid that I suspect you can flip upside down to use as a tray or to heat something else, and the pot itself sits on this heating thingie that you can also use as a skillet! For the first time, I can say I successfully made chili for the first time this past week. The recipe called for garlic, which messed it up a little, but now I know not to use it. The best thing, too, is that I bought these new Reynold's slow cooker liners that came with a little booklet of recipes. When I was done with the chili, all I had to do was throw out the liner and wipe down the moisture that collected on the lid.
I have a couple other things but I'm getting kinda drowsy...

Where do you go when you're lonely?
I just felt utterly miserable all day today, and I can't seem to stop thinking of reasons why. Am I a pessimist? Often times, I'm sure my best will never be better or will never be enough. And when I'm looking for an escape, I only end up with more problems than I can handle. When I'm looking for a person to escape to, I only end up deeper than I had planned.
To top it off, I just got home for a math study session with some buddies from class (all guys... as usual), and pretty much, our math study session should be made into an episode of the guy's version of Sex and The City, and I should be removed from the picture (and when I told Rau that, I think he took it as a compliment).
The one thing I look forward to is the little guy who is always happy to see me! He's so funny. Sometimes if he has a toy and you are sitting on the ground, he'll trot over and happily chew on his toy in the comfort of your lap :) Oh and I finally taught him "sit" and "lay" and "roll" but I think he is confused because sometimes I try "sit" or "lay" and he just lays down and rolls over.

Living actively is real living for me
I know I've already mentioned this, but my Composition class, is such a joke. It's already halfway through the semester, and out of 4 papers and an impromptu essay (all in the class syllabus), our professor has not collected anything except for 3 drafts of the first paper, which we just got back last week. Either at the end of the semester, we will have a ridiculously large amount of papers and homework to do, or we will only turn in 1 or 2 papers that will make up our entire grade. 9/10 times, what we discuss or look at during class is completely irrelevant to anything our papers are supposed to be about.
I'm rebelling by not writing the outline she asked us to write for the 5th paper. Alright, I know this is bad, but common. I've worked hard up until now and it has gone to nothing. I even started and finished a 600 word scholarship essay during one class period. My advisor asked me today during our meeting why I didn't have a grade in that class, and before I finished my sentence explaining nothing has been collected, she said "let me guess... Professor ----" and then she said, "Man I should start counting how many students have told me this."
Annnyway.
This is interesting. A fisherman found a bag of 300 letters that were written to God dating as far back as 1973. I wonder where those people thought the letters went?
Got to catch up with my girly Anna over the weekend :) I can't believe how much things have changed from the days when I practically lived at her house over the summer (was it in 4th grade?) and we played "wedding" and ate homemade chocolate chips every day.
On Sunday, D and I went to Petco to look at puppy stuff and impulsively decided to revive my old, 25 gallon aquarium. It was empty and cleaned out with all the parts (filter, heater, etc.) just piled up inside the aquarium, so we bought new gravel, a water plant, and water conditioner and cleaned it up a little. After we finished everything, we realized the aerator doesn't work anymore. So tomorrow or Thursday, we're going to get airstones, some new fishy, and maybe another plant! Yayyy :) Oh and, Alandra's sister's guppies just muliplied so I might buy some baby guppies off of her too. Alandra said they're so small, they don't even have colors yet so it might be kinda cool to see what colors they grow into if I get some.
Yesterday was a real productive day at work. I feel real good about the fact that employees I work for/with know me well enough to trust me with projects I don't think most interns/co-ops have the privledge of receiving. The APS group at Ricardo is going to a Fuel Cell Seminar in Hawaii at the end of this week, and recently gave me an assignment. Pretty much, it rocks being one of two people who are familiary with InDesign (at least, one of two people in R-US).
We are going to a Home Depot home improvement clinic tonight. Tonight is a window treatment clinic, and hopefully it will give us ideas about a small kitchen window. There's this window in the kitchen that makes me nervous. I know that at night when the kitchen light is on, the people in the condo sub behind us can easily see into our kitchen, especially at us when we're doing dishes or cooking. Hopefully, we'll be able to figure out what type of curtains or curtain patterns we like by the end of the week and have it up and ready.
Starting next Monday, we're going to take puppy training classes with Romeo every week. Although I like to think he is an absolute angel, he has some behavioral problems with play biting (hard), tearing up toilet paper, and barking at the most random sounds. Hopefully this will help us get an idea of what we need to do differently or more.
Ahh gotta go to class - I'll post doggie pics later.
------- (Later) -------
Yep, she didn't collect the outlines today either. She returned a worksheet to us that we completed during class but didn't record points for these either. Grr, I'm going to be so behind next semester when I take the next level of Composition.

=A$1+$A2 is in D1 and it is dragged to E1...
I've got the Dirty Dancing in Havana Nights blasting in my headphones and I can't stop bobbing my head/moving my feet in dancing steps.
The MIS exam about excel today went alright. I mean everything was pretty easy except one section about the $ sign. If you put a $ before a column or row's name when using in it a function, it locks the next character. The questions were like "if $A1+A2 is in D1 and you extend it to E1, what will happen?" and then we had like every combination possible like A$1+A2 and A1+$A2 and $A1+$A2 and A1+A$2 and $A$1+A2 and A1+$A$2 and so on. That section really killed me because I couldn't even picture it without the $ signs and I had to draw the question out on paper to even understand what it was asking.
In celebration for the end of midterms, I went to Beruit La Pita on my way to work to spoil myself with Garlic Dip (amaaazing), Chicken Shwarma, and Lentil Soup. I sat in this tiny little restaurant waiting for my food and thinking about one of the first intern lunches we all went out on together. That was one of our little places. Now, Brandon is back at Rose-Hulman and will probably be hired over Christmas when he graduates, Neil is getting married to Jess, Grant is back at MichTech graduating this year (he definitely doesn't want to return to Ricardo), Veronica is in the Americorp, Henry was hired into the company recently, Amanada is still floating around the area/company, and Pavan is working and taking classes part time at UofM. Me? I'm still doing what I've been doing for the last year and a half. Part time school and booking it to work in my free time. I kinda miss all the random drop bys by my desk by the other interns cuz there isn't really anyone to talk to anymore.
Anyway, the other day, D, me, and my mom took Romeo to this free puppy training informational seminar about housebreaking your puppy and about the different classes and services they offer. For about 15 minutes, they closed off the doorways, had all the humans sit down, and let all the puppies loose to play with each other. At first, my pup was shaking and whining when we were walking into the room because he was so nervous, but when all the puppies could play together (there was probably 10), it was soooo adorable! The puppies started sniffing each other's butts, chasing each other, and playfully pouncing on each other. There was this one little, white Havanese-Shih Tzu that was a cutie. He would run after the other puppies and then randomly plop down like a pillow and just sit there for a minute, and then he would jump back up and run after the other puppies again. My pup was smart :-P He would run after other puppies and when they would chase him, he would run and hide behind people's legs to catch his breath, and then jump back out again and continue running. So cute :)
What's on the agenda for this weekend? Sushi with D, Tom, and Alandra either Friday or Sunday evening, a bit of studying I've got to crack down on, and Enoch's wedding on Saturday.
Shaq is benched by a computer - haha

My little baby boy
My baby sleeping out in the sun :) The other day, my mom asked what I think about finally having a dog around. Really, it's like having a little kid around and I can honestly say it's brought our small family closer together and happier. He has such a personality; I never knew having a dog was like this! Sometimes I'm so amazed he's just a little pup. But he acts like a little kid because he sighs, snores, cries, gets scared (we just discovered he is terrified of balloons for some reason), begs for good food, curls up with you on the couch, has to toss and turn to get comfortable on his bed, gets irritated with us sometimes, gets excited when anyone walks into the house, hides good food in corners of rooms to savor for lator, watches out windows, and likes to sleep in the sun apparently!

Darling youuuu send me
I think I'm being replaced again at work.
I mean Veronica is gone now, but there's another intern from a different department who got "laid-off" (the truth is, there are political reasons why, not really financial) and IT picked her up. Today, I walked into work today and Catherine said she didn't have anything to do because it's all been "taken care of". Grrrr.
On a happier note, here's a more recent picture of me and my baby! He's barely 6 pounds:

Just five cools things

1. My adorable puppy2. Cube Fabulous - I would love to enter this! It's like Extreme Home Makeover except it's for your cubicle! The Beach Bum guy is the funniest!
3. I found a way on Blogger to compile all my entries into one document and export it into Word using HTML. I've always wondered if I'd be able to eventually print out all my entries for keeps, since I'm all about documentation.
4. Allrecipes.com has quite possibly bumped its way up to the top of my list for favorite websites! Haha, now I just have to try the 20 I bookmarked. This includes tackling sushi and fondue (not together of course) - my top two favorites!
5. My aunt sending over a box of milk tea and other festive treats :)

I dare you to impress me
He's about a pound heavier (you can tell real easily). Here's an updated picture of my baby:

Woow lots going on. Should I write the events backwards? I'll start with today. I went shopping with D yesterday on one of our late-night-Meijer runs for some random snacks and presents for the cousins. I bought two electronic Sudoku games, three 20 Q games, a stuffed animal for the baby, barbie clothes, two shirts, and some cute towels. I'm glad I thought of the 20 Q because Hans loved it and it makes him have to learn English. I think I'll be back to buy another 20 Q for myself.
I guess last night, my mom looked at Hans' itinerary and was like, "omg he's not leaving Saturday, he's leaving tomorrow!" So the rest of my plans of taking the day off to spend time with him ice skating, shopping, and arcade-ing went down the drain. Today we helped him pack and off he was off to the airport. I love my cousin but I gotta say, with all the chaos around here, it's a good time for him to return home. Oh how I miss Taiwan when I think about it.
Back tracking a little bit to Wednesday, I got a raise! Yayyy! I guess Jeremy (the president of Ricardo) was talking to Claude about Veronica and me, and after seeing some of the work I had done for Chris, suggested in giving me a raise. I was telling Dusan the other day that I think of Claude as a mentor/boss to be one of those people who will know when to tell me what to do in order for me to grow as an employee in the business world. Wasn't I right? I feel like I have added so much value to myself and my work life over the last few months because of Claude. And his laugh is so funny! I think this is one of the best environments I can surround myself in during this place and time.
Cedar Point with the boys: hottest day of my life! Pictures are here of course...

A new word I like: penultimate. Meaning next to last.
I guess I have a free night tonight! What am I going to do? :) Tomorrow is the reunion with the old gang and I am excited!

On Tuesday, I found out that Gary finally proposed to Catherine. Her ring is goregous - I have to guess it's more than 2 carats altogether. It's the kind of ring that blinds you when you look at it because it is loaded with diamonds. It's like this below. Not that I look for rings online or anything.

Whoooo haaa!
Yayyy - happy news!
The old gang is gonna have a reunion next Saturday!!!!! We're going to dinner and a Tigers game next Saturday, although I don't know why we go to baseball games for reunions - Kyle is the only one who knows anything about baseball. This will be the first reunion since our last reunion two summers ago. I'm super excited/nervous because things between the four of us have changed soo much (you know what I'm talking about). I would have to say, hands down, that this is one of the best group of friends I've ever had in my life.
The doggie's potty training is getting better and better, although his biting is getting worse. He wasn't biting at all when we first got him, which is weird. But Lindsey says he might be teething and he just needs something to chew on.
It's kind of sad how the summer is ending. Although work (and school) will continue for me right where I am right now, everyone is moving away to school talking about how exciting everything will be. Even all my co-op buddies are leaving work within the next month or so. I guess we'll see what happens.
The most random line of a song I heard on the radio this morning on my way to work caught my attention (I know that was a funny sentence, it made sense in my head): maybe next time will be the right time. I think I need to be more patient and not so eager, while still ambitious, and let everything happen at the right time. Maybe.

Hey Chicago, what's going on?
Yesterday/Monday morning, I walked into work to my new cubicle which will soon have a royal blue hutch with shelves. Opened up my email to find an email about how Claude is sending me and Catherine to Chicago on business! He said he'd have just sent me but I'm not old enough to rent a car (you have to be 21 or maybe older).
A couple weeks ago, I went out to lunch with Veronica who struck me with "Oh I'm going to Chicago, FYI..." I'm like, "for... Ricardo?" and she's like, "yeah on a business trip," and I almost lost it.
Apparently Reggie found out there were two IT interns now at DTC and he wrote up a request to have one sent over to CTC. Anyway, I guess what I'm trying to say is HA, Veronica, HA!
Went out to lunch with Tieara yesterday to BK. Their crispy chicken salads are actually real good. That and a Wendy's cup of chili and I'm set for life.
Romeo's potty training is coming a little better. I'm not sure if it's progress or coincidence because the only one who can get him to go potty outside is Dusan. Aside from that, he'll only potty outside in the morning when we wake up and take him out and he can't hold it anymore.
A couple nights ago, Romeo woke me up with his crying from the thunderstorms. Poor baby.
Well, now I'm at UofM-D on orientation registering for classes. Is 13 credits enough? I guess I'm staying at Ricardo during the school year so 13 should be enough. Right? I don't know, this thing is so weird. I had my schedule planned out on paper and when I entered it online, I was waitlisted for every class, resulting in having to redo my schedule.
Umm yeah, about Big Ben leaving Detroit? I'm not feeling that too well. If there's anyone I would have thought represented Detroit sports as an icon, he might have been my first pick. Next to Billups, of course, since he's my Pistons icon. Was it really about the money Ben?
Oh I almost forgot! I got my AP Psych scores back and guess how I did! I got a 5! I know all you Asians out there who took 5 APs each and got 5's on every test are laughing at me, but this is a big accomplishment for me.

His name is Romeo
Since I last posted, everything has been crazy!
For starters, I went back three or four times to see the little puppy in my last entry, and when I woke up on the July 4th morning, my mom was like "alright, let's go to get that dog!".
Name: Romeo
Type: Havanese-Chiuaua
Weight: 3.3 lbs.
Age: 3 months old
He's been keeping me busy although his potty training is not doing well and he badly needs to be neutered (he has some sexual behavior problems - yes you know what I'm talking about). Other than that, he is the sweetest baby and he has such a puppy sense of humor! Look at how tiny he is next to the step!

On July 4th evening, Justin, Dusan, Tim, me, and my mom went to watch the fireworks at Kensington Park. The traffic was like a hundred times worse than last year and it took us an hour longer to get home, but it was well worth it. I got some pretty sweet shots on camera through Tim's binoculars:

I wish I had a picture of the smiley face firework they launched - that was pretty cool.
On July 5th, my cousin Hans arrived from Taiwan. It's the first time in years anyone has come to visit, and the first time a cousin has come to visit. So far, we've taken Hans rock climbing, laser tagging, go-carting, putt putting, and have gone to Ann Arbor, Macaroni Grille, Taco Bell, Ajishin, and Noodles and Company.

With Ricardo, you could probably say I got promoted without actually getting promoted because Claude gave me the task of Flash aaaaaaand I got to move into Brent's old cubicle :) but no extra money :( Anyway, that's a big deal for me, for all you hot-shot Bosch-ers who are laughing right now :P I don't have to sit by Veronica anymore.
Catherine went crazy when finding out I got a dog. She has a dog and treats him/talks about him like he's her son. For lunch one day, she brought me to PetsMart to show me what was the best stuff for my pup. At least I can ask her anything about dogs and she'll know the answer!
Anyway, UofM-D orientation is coming up on Tuesday. Turns out I did alright on the math placement exam, suprisingly. Now we just have to wait on the English scores :)
