Blogging at work. This is what my jobs has brought me to: hiding out, eating a frozen food entree lunch by myself in my cubicle, catching up on blogs and yahoo's week in photos, trying to avoid getting back to work.
I'm bitter because the plans for me to go to the UK fell through and now I have nothing to motivate me to put up with this job I'm starting to hate except that I need the money.

50 reasons why I love you (in no particular order)
Remember when we first started dating and would stop and freak out that we were moving too fast ant that maybe there weren't any true things we knew about each other enough to love each other? It's been about 10 months since we've had that conversation, and I can happily say that I can list 50 things off the top of my head now.
Maybe words cannot always express what we feel about each other, whether it is good or bad. I don't know what will happen to us - whether we get to grow old together or whether we part separate ways, but I want you to have this list I wrote so you'll always know that at some point in time, these were the 50 good things that your girlfriend wrote about you.
If we last the test of time and we do end up growing old together, I hope that we can one day look back, smile, and list 50 things for every year we've been together.
1. He has an adorable little dimple below the right side of his mouth that you can see when he makes cute faces or when he smiles.
2. His eyes are so blue against his perfectly, messy blonde hair and sunburned pink nose.
3. He has a great sense of style when it comes to clothes or accessories and can really pull of some great looks that make me check him out.
4. He smacks his lips when his mouth is dry right as he’s falling asleep after we mess around.
5. I love his earring!
6. He looks and feels so good when he leans back in the shower and washes his hair, showing off his arms and chest
7. He always has the best messy hair but doesn’t need to spend a long time on it.
8. He has the best butt ever and fills out a pair of boxer briefs and jeans perfectly!
9. His scruff! I love to pinch his cheeks and chin so I can feel his scruff.
10. I love showing him off because when we are with other people he always contributes to the conversation, asks intriguing questions that throw people for a loop, and cracks jokes that everyone laughs at.
11. He always has his arm around me, holds my hand, or puts his hand on my knee when we are with friends, even if we are wrapped up in totally separate conversations with totally separate people.
12. When we are around a lot of people, he holds my hand but doesn’t cling or drag as we make our rounds, and he comfortably lets go every so often but is right back with me as soon as it’s comfortable again.
13. We are like a team in the kitchen and when we are entertaining for friends and family.
14. He never ceases to amaze me days, weeks, or months after we have a major fight because he always improves on areas in order to strengthen our relationship.
15. I love just lying in bed or relaxing on a couch with him after a long day and just cuddle with him, give baby kisses, and talk about whatever comes to mind.
16. I love planning out weekends with him to figure out where we’re going, who we’re meeting, or what we’re eating.
17. He gives tiny side kisses discreetly when we're trying to keep off PDA.
18. He curls up and spoons with me in the middle of the night (and then hear him snoring like a cow).
19. He wraps his arms around me make me feel safe like he is holding everything good together between us and protecting me from anything bad.
20. He gives the sweetest little baby kisses on my forehead and cheeks and necks.
21. Every weekend I spend with him, I fall so much deeper in love with him and progressively have a stronger attraction towards him.
22. Curling up or snuggling with him is the most comfortable feeling in the world.
23. He gives the most passionate kisses that sweep me off my feet.
24. He still checks me out and tells me I’m gorgeous when I’m naked and feeling fat/ugly.
25. He grabs my butt when he’s worked up and wants to play.
26. I love having him to fall asleep with and wake up with.
27. He calms me down when I am flustered or freaked out and let's me vent completely before giving any sort of comment or opinion.
28. He teases me about minor, little things he knows I get nervous about and it somehow makes me realize how ridiculous I might be.
29. He soaps me down in the shower with a loofah and gives me puppy eyes after we get in a big fight.
30. He's totally okay and even a little bit goofy talking about really serious or really embarrassing subjects.
31. He's always leads a lot of decisions where I think he needs to.
32. He is always supportive when we work through problems together and I decide to take the lead on certain decisions.
33. He knows all my favorites and always looks for a certain reaction (that I don't even realize I give) when finding out what I want to eat, what movie or TV show I want to see, etc. etc.
34. He randomly texts me cute messages just to say "I can't wait to see you tomorrow!"
35. He calls me beautiful at the most opportune moments like when we are looking in a mirror at each other, just when I wake up and look at him, or when we are caught up in the moment looking into each other's eyes.
36. He has such sweet excitement in his voice when he picks up the phone and says "hi babe!"
37. He makes me feel like I am the most special person on earth and that we are a always a team no matter what the other person has done.
38. He always always always makes me laugh no matter what the situation is or mood is, even if it's just making a funny face or impression.
39. He is always honest about everything to me even if it isn’t always what he thinks I want to hear.
40. He texts me funny messages when we watch our favorite reality shows at the same time, asking me what I think about who will win or lose.
41. He always simply asking how my day was and listens to all the rants I always have to make.
42. He's such a great person to talk with, vent to, or discuss anything that might be on my mind and always tries to look at things objectively while still consoling me.
43. He doesn't get weirded out when we're talking about health or body concerns, and even focuses on it more from a scientific and natural point of view.
44. He is so cute when he sings to songs on the radio and even cuter when he emphasizes certain lines of oldies songs.
45. He is charming and lovey dovey, and I love that I get to bring out that side of him!
46. He is equally weird and goofy about the same things I am weird and goofy about even when no one else understands it.
47. He eats politely with a fork and knife and he is willing to try eating just about anything, and he eats super fast and takes huge bites but always manages to be a clean eater.
48. He is opinionated but is always open to hearing what others have to say even if he completely disagrees.

A few strange things I'm obsessed with
Spending an hour clipping coupons and planning what I think I'm going to purchase
Buying my dog different kinds of dog treats to try using all the coupons I clip
Daydreaming about being the best dancer on the floor, usually when I'm on the road and I hear a song on the radio I like
Smelling the floor cleaner in the stairway after the cleaning guys mop the floors at work
Getting a second piece of paper towel in public bathrooms just to dry off the areas between my fingers
Sleeping with my arms stretched straight up above my head like I'm a hot dog
Buying my dog different kinds of dog treats to try using all the coupons I clip

Where can you run to escape from yourself?
Everything at work is moving 100 mph - so many exciting but challenging things happening for me:
- The upcoming annual CTI exhibition is something I've been working on quite a bit with DTS and Quell. It's been a bit difficult trying to find my place with Quell, but I'm in the process of sorting these things out with Dean before the new BusDev VP starts in June.
- Got some exciting projects going on I've taken on in initiating and improving on new tools and resources to educate employees on processes.
- Continuing to prepare for ongoing and upcoming transitions in preparation for whatever may happen when I leave and pass my responsibilities on
On a personal note:
- Working out some new things going on with my significant other
- Spending a bit more time on self improvement by cooking and cleaning more, exercising more now that the weather has been nicer, etc. etc.
- Working on some smaller projects while it is quite and peaceful around home life
I can't believe how much has happened in the last year or so. It's said that the most physical change a human will ever undergo happens in the first year of infancy, but I think this past year has been the most change in life's events more than I have ever experienced in that time frame.

Practicing forgiveness in business
I read about an interview recently with Carolyn Kepcher from The Apprentice (she was Donald Trump's right hand woman). The interview was conducted not too long after Trump fired her from the Trump Organization.
In one of the questions, she was asked if she had an hard feelings about it, and she had a very respectful answer. She didn't comment too much but said enough to let the smart readers know what she was thinking. The last quote she made on the page was "I try to practice forgiveness in business".
Interesting thought, one I need to consider more often. I take my work and my job very seriously because both are an extremely important part of my life, but I guess that is why I am so taken back and affected by any people-type issues I have to deal with in the workplace.
