Fall Out Boy... and two girls

So D and I were at the Tran's house with Gabe, Andy, and Stephanie when we got a call from Jason. Apparently, the Fall Out Boy concert that he went to with the other Stephanie and her little sister was a bust.

Before even making it into the concert, the girls had each received two misdemeanors and of course he had three. Probably because Stephanie's sister is 15!! I would never bring a 15 year old with me to snack on jello shots when tailgating.

Either way, good thing D and I didn't decide to go! I can't forget I'm stil underage ;)

The Suliots and the Ong/Hwang/Everett

Our reunion with the Suliots (I think it has been 8 years!) as a result of my secret letter to Bill and Barb. They truly are an amazing family! We also got to meet two of the three little ones, Chloe and Caden.

Now I've seen it all

Today, when I got to Ricardo, Joe asked me if I'd heard the "big news" before I even had a chance to boot up my computer.

Of course I hadn't heard of anything, but apparently, an hour or two before I got to Ricardo, there was an "emergency" company-wide meeting to announce that Jeremy was let go. Immediately assuming his old role of President of the company, will be Dean Harlow.

Well now I've seen it all.

I really liked Jeremy. He was very personable, took time to talk to me each time I bumped into him, and he was a family man. From the technology viewpoint of this new president, Dean is more of a business and management guy than an engineering guy like Jeremy was.

I tell ya, the headquarters is corrupting our company. First, they demote most of our VPs, then they replace Claude's position and demote him, and now this.

Sometimes, I'm glad I'm just an intern.

Punctuation at its best

An English professor wrote the words:
"A woman without her man is nothing"
on the chalkboard and asked his students to punctuate it correctly.

All of the males in the class wrote:
"A woman, without her man, is nothing."

All of the females in the class wrote:
"A woman: without her, man is nothing."

Punctuation is powerful!
