Including Ricardo...
Last week: Shopping with Yvonne, lunch at O'Charley's with the interns, training with Aurora
Last weekend: the Lazlo party with the Brhlik clan (and Olivia!! "What's going oooooon?"), Shopping with D on Saturday and Poker with D, Gabe, and Stephanie on Sunday
This week: Chaotic Monday, angry with JVA Tuesday, Flash Wednesday, Dinner with Colleen and D on Thursday, Lebanese lunch with the interns today (Friday)
The good: money saving up, Claude, getting Brent's old cube, the Flash assignment, eating good
The bad: Brent and Steve leaving, bored out of my mind outside of work, feeling like a complete loser...
I don't feel like writing.

Fast cars make my heart beat faster!
Tonight,
I fell in love all over again with my Acura ;)A short drive in the Acura made me remember what I had forgotten about how much I love my car! It has 160 hp, but it's enough of a kick to get me excited! I know the boys are going "whattt, that's all it takes to impress you?" and to that, my reply is "my bf has the other 400-something hp in a convertible so I'm all set if you wanna race!"
Here's the hot, metallic orange RSX that was at NAIAS (mine is Nighthawk Black Pearl). That pic of the engine is not for real though, I got that offline:
Other cars that have caught my eye in the last several months aside from the Murcielago I wrote about several weeks ago: a tricked out, white Saleen in West Oaks (the quality sucks because I took it from far away - can you see the license plate? it says "ITZREAL")...
Lots of Corvettes (the silver Cobra is obviously Deuce's, we kind of thought it was neat how there were three convertibles parked like this when we left the mall)...
A real nice looking, white Camaro in the Ricardo parking lot; an amazing, deep red Cobra convertible with black inserts; and a Mustang with a goldish color (but what struck me is that it wasn't really yellow-gold, it was like a light, reddish, copper-gold color).

Picture Queen
It's 2:30am and I just spend the last two hours sitting here on my butt in front of the computer, raiding digital pictures. I'm trying to decide if I'll permanently use Flickr, Snapfish, or Photobucket. Anyway, here's what I made! Preschool through high school (the last row of pictures are all senior pictures - I had to do that to make it a 4x4):

I'm not sure how I feel about this one. I think I should have stuck with all of them being closeups of random faces, but maybe made one black and white. If I decide to keep the little kid picture of me sitting on the porch, I'll probably crop it so its centered.

Mosaics and jobs.
I made this mosaic of random pictures I have on photobucket and I'm pretty proud of how it turned out:
Left to right, top to bottom:
Josh dealing in poker
Zach, Kyle, Dusan, Cat in 2003
me and Dusan canoeing last summer
Galietti, Dusan, and Cat in Houston
Steve and Brad at F&F night in 2005
Dusan and me at prom
robotics Alumni + Kontry's gf
Kyle and I right before he left
Gabe, Stephanie, me, and Dusan at a Piston's game
me and Kyle at Christmas in 2003
Matt and Marty after GLR 2005
Tom and Alandra
Chad after GLR 2005
Keri, Yvonne, and me
Dusan and me
mom and me :)
Anyway, I haven't been blogging for the last week-and-a-half-ish partly because my plate is full, and partly because each time I sat down, all I could think of were angry, cynical, resentful comments I wanted to write. Not good.
Ricardo has been amazingly busy, and I guess that's I'll really say. But although the money should be flowing in, it's not. I do spend a couple bucks here and there on paper or little buttons for scrapbooking, and I guess that adds up, but I don't think I'm a crazy spender. Anyway, the point is I went back to both Rebecca's and Coldstone to get a job back and it looks like I'll be working nights and weekends at Coldstone. I don't know how I feel about that, all I know is I'm glad Michelle was so nice about it because the thought of having go go back to Rebecca's actually makes me cry. Ironically, I've been going to Rebecca's on Wednesday's after work just to spend some time and talk to Mr. and Mrs. Good. I'm all over the place, I know.
Last weekend, on Friday, D and I went to Josh's to hang out - I love his place! It's a built "apartment" above his parents' garage which is a separate building from the house. It has everything too: a bathroom, a kitchen, internet, cable... Kind of neat how he lives at home, but not really.
Then last Saturday, I went to Megan's grad party and met family/friends. Last Sunday, Colleen came over, and we went to Uno Chicago Grille for dinner (got hit on by waiters), then Dusan came over and the three of us watched Man of the House.
This past Thursday was our co-op lunch day. It was fun, 'cept Veronica was making me crazy. What's new?
This past Friday, D and I went to see The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift Friday night (which I loved) and then to Ava's for a bonfire.
Yesterday, Deuce and I sat down to just talk (and argue a bit) for like 3 hours until everything was out on the table and settled. Signed, sealed, delivered, done. I'm feeling great today that we straightened things out. Then we played soccer/volleyball in his backyard and bought hot dogs at Meijer - buy 1 get 2 free!
Today, I'm going to Ava and Alandra's graduation parties, and then hopefully watching some CSI or something with D tonight. But I know he's got some studying to do. We'll see.

Work me baby, shakin' it the way I like
("Bad Girl" - Usher)
The good news is I think someone talked to Veronica because she toned it down today and kept her shoes on. Other than that, today was kind of a messy day.
The best part about it was when Dusan came over to lounge around after his classes and working out, and we ended up playing basketball (if you even call it that, since we're so bad at it), playing Nerf football, and finding a dead frog in my driveway.
I love when he comes over and hugs me hard, and when he leaves, his CK's Eternity is still in my nose and on my clothes ;)

Poh-ba-feh!
I should be sleeping but I'm wide awake down here just sorting through pictures and emails and blogs and stuff. Went out to lunch with Josh and Ernie at Sushi House, and when I got back to Ricardo, Catherine had this mini-cake she bought as a grad celebration:
It's two layers of chocolate cake with a thick layer of this chocolate pudding/frosting stuff in the middle, those three layers are covered with chocolate pudding/frosting stuff, chocolate shavings are sprinkled on the outside, a frosting flower is on top, and a chocolate leaf is stuf into the frosting. All of this fits in the palms of your hands! Yummm - dessert at it's best: pure chocolate in small portions.
Lynda had also sent me a graduation card and gift card in the mail. Today, she called me at my desk to tell me she had made a hair appointment at my recommended stylist so she could get highlights. I love Lynda to bits and pieces!
Tomorrow, Claude is back from Chicago, and Veronica will be around. Yuck. The good news is that there's only two more days until the weekend, and I'll get to spend time with my hunny bunny!
Speaking of which, I think he's reading this because on Tuesday, he was like, "I've been thinking we should get back together with the old gang since we all haven't seen each other in a long time." And I'm thinking about how I wrote that two days before he suggested it and wouldn't want him to suggest it just because he knows it's something I want. I didn't want to ask because if he's not reading it, he probably will after I mention it. I think he's the only one who knows I write in here (for now).
Hunny you there? You reading this? Drop me a comment if you are! <3

Get me out of here, I'm DONE!
Yesterday before graduation, D took me out to lunch at Macaroni Grille and we had our usual dishes of Penne Rustica. Mmmm! I think it was sort of a graduation lunch celebration :) Ohh I am spoiled!
Oh I almost forgot: as we were leaving (he came to pick me up), we ran into Kyle who was cutting lawns in our sub. To me, it was strangely completely not strange that the three of us kind of just stood there and talked, and it wasn't even really awkward. Subtracting any attatchment I have to either of them, we kind of joked around and talked and stuff for a good 15 minutes before it started raining again. I've been wishing ever since, that the ol' gang might get back together again for a reunion and everything will be as carefree as it was three summers ago when the four of us spent every evening every day with our crazy adventures and relaxing moments. I'm kind of.... jealous? Is that the word? I'm kind of jealous of my old self that I didn't take advantage of the amazing bond the four of us had. Or did I? I don't even know why I tense up everytime I drive over and am determined to knock on Catalina's door to say hi. Wow, I am the master of stupidity sometimes.
Anyway, after lunch, we originally had plans to walk around the mall and maybe shop a little bit, but we ended up going back to D's to lounge around and watch a movie. I don't know why I was kind of in a cloudy mood. Maybe Veronica beat all the energy out of me. I still can't believe I have to spend my summer sitting three feet away from her, two entire days a week.
Graduation was ridiculously long. Sachin had an amazing speech, and I told him so after graduation. It makes me think of fifth grade when I wrote my corn poem and he laughed. I goes like this: Corn, corn, how was it born? Was it born from a horn? It is yellow and sweet and cannot be beat, and I just love that corn!
But back to my story (I know I act ADD sometiems) - three beach balls were thrown around, our class started the wave, and the baseball team was litterally running down the stands to get to walk in time. It was worth it though - I'm glad I went despite all the cruel things I think about high school. D got me roses, isn't he a cutie? Anyway, here are the three of us!
The all night party was actually amazing! I can't believe how much money they put into this and how many expensive prizes there were! The theme was based on movie stars or movies or something because each activity was in a different section of the building that was decorated like a different movie. For example, at Pirates of the Carribean, you could get an airbrushed tatoo (like my Cobra? haha that's not my butt crack, by the way, that's like a birthmark line on my back):
At the Wild Wild West, you could play slots, blackjack, poker, craps, and roulette (picture of a 150+ chip hand I won):
At Napoleon Dynamite, there was DDR and some arcade games.
Star Wars had a Darth Vadar and a Storm Trooper walking around and you could sit on these funky chairs and play Star Wars video games on PS2 (I think).
Beauty Shop had an actual beauty shop where you could get a manicure or get your hair curled. Lots of food, lots of those moonwalk type of games,
a green screen for karaoke, another green screen for pictures, the hypnotist (not as good as Ypsilanti's from GLR).
The prizes were like Nikon cameras, $50 bills, plasma screen TVs, stereo systems, and if I remember correctly, the grand prize was a trip to Las Vegas with airfair taken care of and $2,000 spending cash. It's okay though, I'm sure there's someone that has something bigger than the candles I got who deserves it more. Here is me and two other cuties :)

Couldn't take the Heat :(
Wednesday - Ricardo, then the first half of the Pistons game at home with mom and Tim on our new cable :) Second half at Kari's house with D, Yvonne, Bryn, Wes, and Sarah.
Thursday - Veronica (the new co-op) summed up: running around without shoes, constantly talking about her misquito bites, says things like "whatev" and "def" (definately), constantly bothering me about whatever she's working on like "PS, you labeled this wrong" and "FYI, you spelled this wrong", sings to herself when it's dead silent and everyone is working, high fives everyone all the time, thinks she can get full time if she wants, a hippie, asks strange and personal questions, got a computer with 2 terabyes+ of memory with her brand new monitor. Probably gets paid more than I do because she's two years older.
Friday - Ate BBQ chicken and mash at D's, Watched the first half of the disappointing Piston's game at Gabe's with him and Stephanie, left to go back to D's and eat BBQ ribs, played one-on-one poker with him while watching the Pistons lose. But ya know what, I think I'm okay with the results. After all, Williams and Walker really stepped up and played hard (three pointers left and right) and it wasn't all about Shaq and Dwayne Wade anymore. They really pulled together as a team while, I think, our team got tangled up with some bad team dynamics (ahem - press releases).
